Last Friday, July 5th, our world was turned upside down. After some very concerning symptoms Jeff was taken to the ER where it was determined that he has a mass in his brain. After a long stay in the Neuro ICU and a brain biopsy, we received the devastating news that it was in fact a Glioblastoma, which is an aggressive form of a brain tumor.
Right now we're working on our plan of action. I'm blessed to be a part of the Oncology community and work with some of the very best! While I appreciate the input from others and the success stories that have been shared, please know that we've put our faith into our doctors who are determined to find the best options out there for Jeff- whether that be locally or across the nation.
Our hearts are broken and we know this will be a long road. We are so grateful for the outpouring of texts, phone calls, prayers, etc. thus far.
They say in darkness comes light, so we'll keep searching for God's Promise during this time and do our best to live and love one another for whatever the days might bring.
